Nightmare Rarity WIP

I recently got a hold of the MLP comics and started reading them. I really enjoy them so far. Nightmare Rarity is so fabulous looking. More times then not I base how much I like a pony by their appearance. Octavia, Rarity, NM Rarity. My main reason for loving them is their design. The personality just cements it. So seeing Nightmare Rarity I had to do some art for her.

I'm working on two versions of this. One pop art (I have a temporary obsession with those dots) and another more show quality. I'm not sure what this version needs yet. Something more to the background maybe and I guess more shading. Not sure. Tell me what you think.

The second version is going to have a more space like background. You know stars and cosmos type stuff. It's also going to be shaded with more colors and detail.

So any sugestions?
